Raquel Blasco Fraile

Associate, Senior Architect

Raquel is a Senior Architect in HBM and a member of the Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland (MRIAI) since 2020.

Raquel grew up and studied Architecture in Madrid, and qualified as an Architect in October 2007, with additional specialized training in Urban Planning and Environment. Recently, in 2023, she also completed a Certificate in Building Information Modelling with Revit from Munster Technological University.

Since qualifying, and prior to joining HBM in 2020, Raquel gained international professional experience with practices in Spain, Canada, United Kingdom and Ireland, working across a broad range of projects including Residential, Commercial, Educational and Urban Design.

As part of Healy Butler Moffat Architects, Raquel has been involved in projects across all stages, from concept design to construction, with particular expertise in educational buildings.

Raquel has a particular interest in the problem-solving side of architectural and urban design, and the careful balance required between conceptual resolution and technical rigour, aiming to maintain these as a coherent strategy from concept to construction.
