Lena joined the team in 2026, bringing 12 years of architectural experience and an adaptable perspective shaped by living and working across different places. After qualifying with a Dipl.-Ing. in Architecture in Frankfurt, Germany, she began her career working on the energy retrofit of the historic Ernst Neufert Hydraulic Engineering Hall (Wasserbauhalle)—an early project that sparked her lasting interest in thoughtful, high-performance building upgrades.

Over the years, her work has focused extensively on educational projects built with timber construction, alongside a pioneering housing project centered on sufficiency and all-electric design (Nur-Strom-Haus). Across all her work, she emphasizes durable, sensible design that respects both the environment and the people who use it every day.

Having recently joined the practice, Lena is excited to get stuck into the studio's upcoming work, collaborate across the team, and bring her diverse background to new projects. Outside of the studio, she enjoys traveling, crocheting, spending time with family, and exploring her new surroundings.
